TradeKing Promotional Code No More

by David Ning · 11 comments

Every now and then, there will be a TradeKing promotion available, which we will share with you since we always find out about the TradeKing promotional codes out there. Sometimes, the promotions will involve an existing account holder (you will see what I mean by reading below) and both you and the person who invite you will benefit. Other times, you can get the benefit without the help of someone else.

What I Really Think of TradeKing and All The Promotions

To be honest, TradeKing is a great stock broker and many highly recommend using them with or without a TradeKing promotional code. For instance, just as competitors continue to increase their commission structure, Tradeking is maintained the same commission structure all along with its simple $4.95 per trade + $0.65 per contract. It’s these types of moves that make Tradeking a company that’s worth considering even when there are no specific sign up promotions going on.

Enough about what I think though. How about you? What do you think of their promotional offers? Is it good enough for you to say yes to a free account? And once you sign up, will you give them a shot by actually funding it and making trades?

I opened a new account today using your link. Do you get a referral bonus for the links posted in this article, just curious?

One thing I didn’t like about TK is they seem to have a tie up with Apex clearing (saw that name on the final confirmation page under the Margin account section). I had an account w/ MBTrading.com before (still have it but don’t use) and their website was pretty awful and they redirected me to Apex clearing website to access the 1099 forms and account statements which I thought was very rudimentary in this day & age where customers expect all information in a single place.

  • Imran Mehdi says:

Can you please invite me and earn $50 in tradeking?
    thanks!

  • Mike Ding says:

Hey, can you send me a invite for Tradeking so we can both get the $50 referral bonus?

  • Kay says:

Great information on investing and trade king. I’ll check them out as well! I need more simple information such as this, thanks David.

  • MoneyNing says:

They do real time quotes (actually, pretty much everybody does real time quotes these days). It’s hard to say that there will be no surprises because everyone’s expectations are different. I can tell you, by reading everyone’s comments on all the brokers, that TK has one of the fewest customer complaints though.

Email is sent. Look for an email that came from TradeKing.

  • Mark Lynch says:

I am thinking of opening an account with TradeKing. Can you confirm they use realtime quotes and are there any surprises that I don’t see on the surface. If this is a broker you would recommend, could you send me an invite. They currently have this promotion again until the end of May … Thanks.

  • MoneyNing says:

TradeKing reimburses you up to $150 of your transfer fees. All you have to do is sign up, then fill out the form to get your money back. You may want to chat with their customer service department about it to make sure but it should be pretty straight forward.

I’m with sharebuilder, and so is a friend of mine and id like to switch us to tradeking. So are there any new promos that do more than the 50 bucks, like cover the cost of the transfer as well?

  • Jessica says:

Thank you for listing out the Tradeking promotional code. I already signed up and will be getting some free money. I contemplated several months with this broker and I’m glad that they did this to push me over the hump to apply.

So far, I like the interface but I will know more as I start trading.

  • MoneyNing says:

From now through the end of the month (Nov 2009), there’s no need to get an invitation as long as you click the special link at the top for the TradeKing promotional code that says “Get $50 When You Open a TradeKing Account Today”.

Once you click through, it will show the free $50 bonus on the page.

  • Melissa says:

Hello – I would like to open a trade king account and want to invest 1500 dollars so could you invite me? Thanks!
