Different Thoughts on TradeMonster and Their Promotions
TradeMonster’s reimbursement promotion seems to be better than the competition because of the higher dollar amount but so far, there aren’t any other promos that you can really take advantage of. In addition, most companies charge less than $100 to move their account over to another firm so you might not get much even though the reimbursement fees can go as high as $250. Is this a concern for you? If you hate your current stock broker, are you willing to take a look at this one and see if you can look past the fact that they don’t have any promotions to speak of? TradeMonster is really yet another stock broker that you can use to trade stocks. With so many options out there, I know it’s hard to figure out which ones are worth the time but since the account is free to sign up and there’s no obligation to trade on it if you don’t like what you see, I actually suggest you to give it a spin and decide for yourself as being comfortable with your trading platform is a very personal decision.
One point of caution though is that they certainly aren’t one of the bigger players in the discount broker space as it’s pretty much dominated by the likes of OptionsXpress, TradeKing, and others like Zecco or even Optionshouse. Of course, this isn’t to say that they are no good, but keep the size of the broker in mind as you consider them for your trading needs.
