The Microsoft Store is very much like the Apple Store and periodically, you can get promotions via a promo code from them either through a mailer or online. I must say that those who don’t check out Microsoft Store coupons are missing out because they are usually very good when they run promotions. I feel like Microsoft completely copied the Apple Store concept with their physical stores. While it’s an awesome idea, this whole effort just pains me to see because the stores look exactly like an Apple Store. Too bad Microsoft products aren’t sexy anymore so unless they run a huge promotion where I can get a discount, I probably have no need of going in there to even browse at their products. (Actually, I might not use the promotion codes even if I get some because I don’t really use Microsoft products anymore.)
Microsoft, here’s a suggestion: Make cooler products! With the exception of Microsoft Kinect, you are lagging behind everybody in innovation for the past decade. Get on with R&D, and stop churning out old and boring stuff. Oh and while we are on the subject of Microsoft Kinect, you should know that you have a very cool product here and you need to step on the marketing budget to really push developers to make great games for it. I’m sure you already know, but gaming consoles is about fun games and not at all about technological advancements. Use your cash to dominate by getting great games out on the market, and fans will follow you wherever you decide to take us.
How to Apply a Microsoft Store Promo Code
When you see a promotion code available, you should enter it in the promo code box at checkout (as shown).
Make sure you click on “Apply” so the promotion is added to your order. You should see the prices automatically reflect the discount. If the price doesn’t change, then your promotion code was probably not valid. If you see the savings though, then it’s time to continue with the checkout process and enjoy the savings.
