I found out last week that one of my co-workers just signed up with Directv! She had Dish but said she didn’t like the lack of an on-screen guide like DTV has. I wish she’d have asked around to see if anyone else was a customer – we could have used that $100 referral money! Also, the last time we signed up with them, we did use the AAA discount (we’ve been AAA customers for 20 years) but that wonderful DTV customer service attitude wouldn’t give it to us. I’ve had direct tv for about 2 years now. I received a coupon in the mail saying I get $100 in Bill credit for referring a friend and do far they haven’t given it to me. I also tried using the refer a friend when signing up and they only let me use 1 while I had 2. They said when that 1 was used up I could then use the 2nd but now they won’t let me saying I’m not a new customer.
