If CenturyLink has taken over a different broadband service provider in your area, or you are signing up for new service, it is a good idea to search for different promotional offers both online and off. It is very common to find flyers in your mail or newspaper for CenturyLink’s current discounts, so you can wait for your flyers to arrive or you can be proactive and get online to look for the promotions which suit your needs best.
Internet Offers
If you go online, you will find that the most commonly offered promotion is for high speed Internet starting at $19.95 per month. This price is guaranteed for up to 5 years and will provide you with speeds of up to 12mbps – not bad of a deal that doesn’t even need a promo code.
Another choice you have is to bundle services such as telephone and television along with your Internet and receive a Visa Gift Card for up to $150 as a reward. The most common rebate is $50, with triple and double play bundles. For the bigger rebate you have to work through a separate website called Offerwire and print out a form to mail in. The rebate grows for each service you include, so think carefully whether it makes sense financially.
CenturyLink Promotion Code
- Possible $50 off first bill. Use one of these promo codes: 313287177, 4051849, or 4060633
- $10 Off for 6 Months. Use CenturyLink Promo Code: O311931861, O413838483
- Notice that the promo codes start with the letter “O” and not the number “0”.
Phone Home More Often
While land lines are not as common these days, that doesn’t mean no one needs one. If you have young children at home it is pretty important to keep that phone line available, and if you make calls to other countries, land lines remain much less expensive than cell phones.
CenturyLink is currently offering a promotion for Home Phone Unlimited starting at the low rate of $45 per month. That covers several of the most popular features, such as call waiting, voice mail and solicitor screening. Local calling is free, which is a nice promotional perk.
Television with DirecTV
Much like rivals such as Verizon on its non-FiOS packages, CenturyLink and DirecTV work together in many regions to provide you with the very best of high definition and digital viewing. With the same picture quality as Blu-Ray DVDs you can watch hundreds of movies every month, use your free DVR to record your favorite shows and enjoy the best of sports and specialty programming. DirecTV is a bundled service which can also be purchased individually. Rates run from $29.99 – $94.99 a month independent of any other services.
Each level of service comes with three free months of Showtime, while higher levels also offer HBO, STARS and Cinemax. Spanish viewing packages are also available in most areas.
Other Promotions Appear from Time to Time
If none of the above promotions appeal to you, then take a look around the Internet for other, short term coupons. Right now you can find one coupon which offers $50 off your first month of service and another which gives you 10% off of your initial, total order. These coupons, as well as the offers above, change regularly. If you don’t see what you like now, just wait a bit. Something will turn up.
The Key to Successful Promo Code Hunting
To get the deal you really want it helps to start out with an understanding of what you need. If you are getting your communications services from different companies, the simple act of bundling will save you money right away. Comparison shopping is the next step.
There are many broadband promotions from all types of competitors, so another way to get a good deal is to approach customer service with an offer from their competitors to see if they will match the promotion. Otherwise, sign up for service online because it is usually the cheapest.
Get smaller bundles to save even more. While you may not get the biggest gift card rebate, the monthly charges will more than make up for that. If you don’t need a download speed of 40mbps, simply take something slower to reduce your costs. Chances are you won’t really notice anyway.

Due to promo site being down , I have been unable to get my promised $50.00 gift card
People are saying that there is no place to enter a code, but I’m looking at it right now. I just copied this off of their website – “Have a program or discount code?” and there is a box to enter a code.
In order to find the promo code box, you have to start the checkout process, then it will show up for you to input a code.
FYI!!!! This is NOT VALID and WILL NOT work to get a discount with Century Link. They do not take coupon codes ever so do not waste your breath arguing with a CSM or budget any of these promotions. They are already cheap and that is why their customer service, online or on the phone, will not comply with ANY coupon not initiated by the company directly.
I’ve looked over and over on CentryLink’s website and there is no area to enter the promo codes. Help needed please. Thanks!
We have a Century link bundle in Centralia at G St 98531. When getting our order completed we were told by Mandy in Idaho after December 26th, we will have a free $150 dollars visa card coming to us. Where is it and please do not ask me to follow it on the computer as I am doing just ok to type on this thing only. The Centralia service is under 3607361315. Thanks.
