This is part of the series on Saturdays where I share videos I took during my honeymoon! Check out the video tag page for more videos!
This Saturday, I want to show you a video of us finally arriving in Japan. During our wait for the bus to our hotel, my wife managed to find some free ice cubes and made a good iced coffee for me! (Talk about being frugal!!!) Then we went to have Shabu shabu for dinner and it was simply amazing. I’m not sure why but I just love Shabu Shabu when the beef is good quality. The meat seems to melt in your mouth and it tastes soooo good.

Your turnaround time is commendable. We still need to wrap-up the pre-honeymoon video from Tokyo… two years ago
Oishi!
DebtNever: You are welcomed. Definitely look for more videos of my honeymoon trip every Saturday!
Richard: Kobe beef must be amazing but I’ve never had it in Shabu Shabu. Maybe one day!!
Hs McD: It actually is! It was really good and it makes me want to go back just thinking about it!
bunny: Oishi is right!
Sean: Hehe there’s no better way to get it done than today so go get your video completed!!!
David, did you guys go on a tour? My family and I also arrived at this shabu shabu buffet place that looks very similar
-Mike
Shabu Shabu, I have not heard of that one before. What kind of meat is it?
Mike: We didn’t go on a tour because we liked the flexibility of going on ourselves. We just found this place online and the location is in Ikebukuro.
Komodo Dragon: Shabu Shabu references a style of cuisine instead of a type of meat. It’s very similar to hot pot with two types of sauces (a peanut butter type sauce and a soy sauce with a bit of a sour taste).
