I decided to take the google ads down until further notice. The original thought was that I can use some of the proceeds to help fund the development of the website and possibly donate some of the money to charity. However, it is not performing enough to help in any way so I decided to take it down. It probably discourage readers from looking more into this site so at this point of the site it does not make sense. I plan to focus on writing good articles to help people understand the basic financial concepts and remind people the importance of savings and investing first and grow the readership so more people can benefit.
On a different subject, I will be going on a trip tomorrow until Sunday, so don’t be alarmed if I write a post like this and not update the site for a few days since I will do what I can to keep this blog running long term (even though it’s taking much of my time and distracting me from my primary job a little bit).
Yet another topic, I always planned to change to using wordpress (another blogging platform) since there are many features that I like. I played with it a few weeks ago and basically got the move over issues figured out, so I just need to find a good template (or design my own) to move it to.

It might take a while since I haven’t been able to find a good template that I like better than the one I have now.
I will keep you posted though. You will definitely know once I move over so bug me about it if I forget (in which case I apologize ahead of time).
