Day’s Gain: $56.58

It’s funny how politics affect the stocks so much! The day was pretty much a down day, and all of a sudden it started trending up because the secretary of defense resigned! Microsoft announcing that Vista is ready to be shipped to manufacturers also helped.

AMD was down big today, at one point it was off 2%+ but Microsoft obviously helped that stock. It’s funny how so many times you wanted to buy a stock, it goes up afterwards and you kick yourself but if you really do buy it, it usually goes down!

Another stock I’m sort of watching is Game Stop. It’s back to the exact level that I bought it at, and I see that people are supporting it even though there are many sellers taking profit since the huge run recently. I believe that it is still a good trade for a sell till it reports. I’m not sure if I want to hold onto this until it reports or after as I cannot gauge the impact on sales that the console launch has on the company.

Walgreens. No good news yet. Patience patience patience. Democrats winning probably wouldn’t help the stock either. I will hang onto this unless it dips below 8% of my buy price (I bought it at $44.95)

Another interesting day in general though. I was down $250 to up $350 and settled at $50+. Any up day is a good one! Until next time!

Declaring bankruptcy is very serious. Avoid it by getting expert debt advice and not spending too much on your credit card.
