Day’s Gain: $533.67

I’m back to a sane state after I cooled off a little bit during the weekend and today’s nice run. I actually went up even though the market went down. A couple of things happened.

I wanted to buy Marvell (MRVL) but I was scared that it has gone up too high when it was up 3%. Of course, it ended up like 8-9% or something for the day but I’m not unhappy since I had a pretty good day.

Today, Microsoft really did well, being upgraded and also because of the obvious play (Vista coming closer and closer anyone?)

AMD is struggling, bouncing around even but I still believe it is going to be good. Long on this one. I was going to buy more when it was down but didn’t. It ended up even which I could’ve made some money on but that’s okay since there is no need for bad talk in this game. Stay positive!

As I’ve said on Friday, I sold Game Stop, and it went down another 1% today and might go down even more after the announcement. I will watch it and I will short it if it starts going down in a significant way because I believe it will tank if it gives bad guidance and it starts to go down.

Altria and AT&T didn’t really do anything today but they are long (more Altria then AT&T but I don’t have much in AT&T so no worries).

ETrade was king today. I actually sold the stock from after it went up another 3.8% since it’s been up quite a bit since I bought it (12% in approx. 1 month). I think this is a good company and will continue to go up, but there might be more upside to TD Ameritrade if it trades above $17. For those that do not know, the October trading volume has gone up nearly 10% and that’s why all the brokers are rallying.

I also bought Radiant. It was fun buying shares and seeing the price go up because of me buying them as I feel like a big player. It dipped a few cents and went back up. I am playing this for small ups as this thing bounces around 10-10.50 many times before so this is a pattern play. I will sell it if it hits 10.15 or more tomorrow. We shall see.

It is going to be hard to get to $70,000 for this month after that disaster day, but hopefully I can make it for this year at least. I’m only $3300 or so off so I should be able to if the market keeps up with this incredible gain. Go trading!

Positive day! Let’s keep this up!
