I pick up dvds from the library and watch them, read books, clean up home (takes 2 hours) and cook (another hour) after which iam dead tired. So sleep

Watch videos on youtube, google video. You can find a lot of entertaining and educational stuff there. If nothing, watch Discovery, National Geographic, news channels. I feel quite sad that my weekend is only of 48 hours.

this is what I am do when I am bored and don’t want to spend money.

library: I get a book, dvds, and music that I have not viewed/listened to. So that way I have a variety of things.

exercise: walking, running/jogging, swimming (if you have a community pool for apartment dwellers), biking, any sports based on what you have in your closet.

cleaning: cleaning out clutter in your home, possibly finding things that you have collecting dust and you can sell it on ebay or half.com or something like that.

bartering: you can make webpages or something like that, post an ad on craigslist and find someone who is willing to get a webpage for a service. Say house cleaning ect.

Modern Worker: This is amazing to me because I’m so busy I would think that I would want to relax when I get some free time. Instead, I aren’t used to the boredom and I end up thinking about how I can spend my money instead!!

I find myself thinking the same thing sometimes on the weekend. I do a lot of cooking and disc golf though, which helps me avoid costly activities. The temptation is still there however to go eat up a movie or experience a restaurant.

You should read Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. I like the part where he talks about cash flow and how rich people buy assets (creating more income). Compared that to middle income who spend their money on liabilities. Tom (TRCoach)

When I have nothing to do, those stupid Comcast OnDemand pay per view movies look better and better… I think I may have to watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles…
