Day’s Gain: -1029.28!
Overall a pretty bad day. I sold Fedex and Walgreen and bought more Game Stop and here are the reasons.
I bought Fedex since it was having a good quarter but I do not have any reason to hold onto it anymore, and the 6% profit I got from it was pretty good.
Walgreen is just out of favor right now. I should have known to sell this stock when it was going up at the beginning of the week, but I was being a pig and just hoping that it will keep going up without thinking much. Of course, the stock went down 2%+ today because people are afraid the Democrats will push to lower drug prices, causing less profits for the whole industry etc etc. I think that it will go back up one of these days, but there are more places I can put money in right now to hopefully grow it faster, so I sold it. It also crossed the 8% down line that I set, so again, I’m selling it.
I continue to support Game Stop even though people are taking profits. I believe it will run up next week when the console hit the shelves and before it reports numbers. You just have to look at Electronic Arts to know that this will be a great quarter. That’s why I bought another 200 shares (now my biggest holding at 400 shares).
