I’m getting ready to get to the airport to go back to the states! One thing I always wondered is what people do with the extra foreign currency that they still have at the end of the trip?
Do you keep them for your next trip, give them to relatives or try to use up the last cent on everything you see?
It seems to me that every option has their pros and cons so it’s pretty hard to decide! On this trip, I will probably give all my NT dollars (currency in Taiwan) to my fiancee since she will still be here for a couple more days but your suggestions are welcome since I always have this dilemma!
Next week, I will be back so everything will be back to normal. Stay tuned for more articles from my experience in Taiwan!

I always save my extra currency. It has been a while since travelling overseas, so the random yen, pounds and euros are worth a bit more now (not including inflation).
