This was a great month for my investments. I basically did not have much extra savings other than my 15% salary going into my 401k account and $500 going into my Roth IRA. However, I still managed to increase my net worth by $5877.68

The major reason for my lack of extra savings was because of my car maintenance and car insurance, which totaled $1636.90. This is a one time expensive (once every 6 months for my car insurance which I foresee will be rapidly going down in the next few payments).

Therefore, I believe I’m still in great shape to increase my net worth to $150,000 by year end assuming the economy is holding up for the stock market to keep growing at its current pace.

I’m also planning to start withdrawing my reward points starting next month from the second credit card I got (read more about the card here) so it will act as extra income.
