If we don’t want to go to work, we will dread Mondays. The statement is obvious, but why do we not want to go to work? It might be because of our boss, or it might be related to the girlfriend co-worker that we just broke up with. Whatever the reason, we don’t want to go to work because we think it will suck.
The cause for this perception can always be traced back to the fact our memory of work is negative. The more bad weeks we have previously, the easier it is for us to draw the conclusion that the next week will suck.
Take me for example, I always hate Mondays (and most of the time Sundays) because I didn’t have a good week before. On the other hand, if the last work week was a great one, I usually don’t mind the Monday that follows. For most of us, this is common sense but I bet many of us don’t really do anything to fix it.
Start having great weeks, and subsequent weeks will become better. It’s that easy. How you ask? You can check out the other motivation Monday articles for some ideas.

So true. I am in the same sort of situation where I don’t exactly enjoy going to work. It’s a day in, day out battle.
Positive attitude can really make a good start for the day. Keep it up and your week will be productive.
