Motivation Monday - Look Forward Our Rewards

I finally decided to move!  To put this into context, this is a decision made 3 weeks before getting married so I will be even busier than normal as I get to something else to worry about one more thing!!  (In reality, I think my fiancee will go crazy long before I will because she is doing almost all the coordination for the wedding.)

Writing about this makes me so happy even though it’s Monday!  This is because I have something to look forward to now.  Instead of thinking about why the weekend ended and the work week started, my mind is filled with happy thoughts like the new place I will be living in a few weeks.  It’s amazing how much brighter my work week seems when I made a decision about something that is totally unrelated but I can tell you that this works.  Actually, this works wonders.

Of course moving every week to eliminate Monday blues is not an option, but let’s extend this idea further.  Since a few weeks ago, we started to line up rewards with our accomplishments.  This week, we should start to remind ourselves the reward for our next accomplishment so we can look forward to it!  It doesn’t matter what the reward is, as long as the accomplishment is achievable and reward fulfilling.  That way, we can always think about our reward, which will in turn make our life happier as we are always thinking about obtaining it and not thinking about how tired we are in the morning!

Positive thoughts my friends.  We all need more of that.  Have another happy week!!

I know exactly what you’re talking about. It’s easier to be in a better mood during the day and at work when you’re excited about other things going on in your life.

Don’t let work define you, and just enjoy life.

We always should look positvely and must not frown to our failures it makes us completely perfect to not do it the next time around.
