Last week’s post on Motivation was an important one that it deserves a revisit. Motivation is never a question when we have passion. When we are doing something we love, we will do everything we can to make it right. We don’t complain, we don’t find excuses and we don’t worry about the work we’ve put in it.
When we are passionate about it, motivation will come naturally!
Last week, I asked you to go find your passion. Have you tried yet? Reader Chris Eaker definitely tried, but he asked an important question:
Do you have any insight about how to find your passion? My problem is that I haven’t had enough varied experiences in my life to know what I’m passionate about.
In response, Sam wrote:
In order to figure out what your passions are, take note of the times when you felt the happiest, on target, and most connected with others and yourself. Figure out what you were doing in those times and what you were experiencing. Remember that the “…key to passion and enthusiasm is to reconnect with your original purpose for doing anything that you do.” These experiences are signs of how to bring passion to your life, excluding your everyday work.
This is great advice! If you are having a hard time figuring out what your passion is, take note of the times when you are the most enthused about a certain topic!
If you haven’t tried finding your passion yet, start now! I can assure you that those who are doing what they love are very happy. Extremely happy.
If you are in serious debt the APR is often really high. So before you go and get yourself in more debt, get debt help from a company you can trust.

Always enjoy the advices, thanks!!
I should really think about this whole “passion” thing.
I like how you are following up!
I work as a clerk but I love my industry. It truly makes the boring (data entry) job much easier when everything you type is interesting!
I know my passions and am fortunate to be able to have a lot of down time at work that enables me to spend time on some of them while at work
I know that when I decide to give up the totally paid company paid health insurance, I will be able to devote full time to my passions. In the meantime, working parttime with a lot of free downtime is a good tradeoff, in my opinion
Kind of the best of both worlds. I count my blessings daily
Following ones passion and dealing with practicality is never easy.
I am fortunate to have time away from work to pursue my passion for writing. Hopefully I will be able to be able to generate a comfortable income with it so I do not need to go back to the stress of my work.
Thanks for the advice!
I’m going to put it in use.
