<description>Great post David, and good advice. There's no better way to clear your head or find motivation than to take a break from whatever you're doing to take a quick walk. It gives you time to think and gets the blood circulating to make you fully alert so that when you go back to your task, you can give it 100%.

I used to force myself to work on something until it was finished. Everything always wound up taking twice as long because I was bored, mentally blocked or frustrated. Now I take breaks to work out, go for walks or spend time with the wife. When I come back to a task after a break, I usually find that I'm anxious to work on it even if I was sick of it before the break. This is good advice, I hope a lot of people read your post and take it.

Cheers,
Odd Lot
