Random.org has helped me pick out the winner of the Microsoft Money 2007 Deluxe contest! For those that were wondering, I put down all email subscribers’ email address followed by the websites that linked to my article in an excel spreadsheet. Then, I used the random generator from that site to generate a random number, getting the following.
Mapping the number (62 in this case) to the row number, the winner is the email subscriber that with email address having the pattern h_ _5@ch_p_ _n.edu.
Congratulations! I will be contacting the winner for an address to ship the software to so remember to reply! As I mentioned yesterday, I will be holding another giveaway once the subscriber count reaches 400 so stay tuned!
