We Share in Life - Interesting Stories All Around Us

This week was very cool because of all the carnival inclusions, becoming part of the Investors Blog Network and also putting together my first giveaway. Comments have also picked up quite a bit this week and I thank all my readers for participating because you are part of what makes my blogging experience great! Here are some links from the top commentators and also interesting blogs around the world.
Engineer helped with many of my FICO score questions in the week’s post on my cash flow crunch. I want to highlight his site Engineering My Finances here even though its not updated that often since I really appreciate his efforts! I would be happy to host a guest post from him in the future (take this as an invite)!
J at Home Finance Freedom noticed the past week that there is a delay with his posts and the time that it shows up on pfblogs.org. Check his post out on how he helped the situation!
KMull talks about the need to live instead of thinking about budgeting and saving 24/7. I definitely agree with this but I need to say “good luck” to him since he mentinoed at the end of his article that he wants to buy an used BMW for $500 - $2000!
For the number crunchers amongst us, check out The Sun’s Financial Diary with this article where he takes a look at what the performance would be, with and without alternative investments, using Vanguard funds for different asset allocations.
Money, Matter, and More Musings this week looked into whether or not he should let his car go. Remember to check out the comments for some suggestions by others if you are in the same situation.
Digerati Life talked about the guy that turned his house into a Star Trek ship! It’s my opinion that the person put on too much risk by maxing out all his credit cards to do it but it sounds like he ended up making money.

Thank you for linking to the Carnival of Personal Finance
Thanks for mentioning my post! Love your blog (I love green)…
Not a problem and glad you like this blog (whatever the reason)!
Thanks for the mention of my blog. I actually have updated it recently. Being a boomer some of my posts tend to look forward to retirement and Social Security issues.
At the same time I’m not so old that I couldn’t look back toward issues I’ve experienced that would be more important to a 20-something. So send an email and let’s see if we could agree on some content that would fit in with your blog in which case I’d be happy to write a guest post.
Engineer: Glad to hear from you. As I have said, I really appreciate your help with the FICO score comments.
