The Blog World Expo was quite fun as I got to meet many bloggers who share the same passion! The conferences were quite informative as well and I learned quite a few things so stay tuned at Busy Blogging Dot Com where I will be spending a few weeks covering what I learned and saw at the event!
The past week was definitely eventful as watching the stock market was almost as exciting as riding on the roller coaster. The last few days was the perfect example for us to stay invested and tune out the news if we are in it for the long run. Always have a plan ahead of time and keep investing!
- Clever Dude decided to pump $1500 into the economy on Thursday by adding to his Roth IRA funds! Proof that people are still investing in this market.
- The Digerati Life shares a guest post that teaches us how to recover from a huge impulsive buy!
- Four Pillars takes a look at Phillip Morris’ (PM) offer to buy Rothmans (ROC). At this price, PM is getting a great price for ROC. What do you think?
- My Two Dollars takes this even further and talk about investing in anything related to alcohol, gambling and tobacco. History tells us that these stocks have been doing quite well. Should you start investing now? Do you have issues investing in these types of companies?
- Squawkfox is urging us to build that emergency fund as having one saved her now that she is going through her knee surgery! I hope that she gets better really soon!
- Blunt Money explains to us that being in debt is like having a yard full of weeds! She tells us to just buckle up and start plugging away at it!
