Two more weeks and I’m getting married!  I’ve just been way too busy these days trying to figure everything out!  I can’t begin to imagine what it’s like for my fiancee right now because she is pretty much the lead on all the coordination between everybody!  I anticipate to be even busier for the next 2-3 weeks when my family start to arrive and I hope to be back in full force after this to bring you great personal finance content!

Here are some of this week’s articles that are worth checking out!

  • Living Off Dividends has an article explaining why we need to prepare for inflation in excess of 10%.  Wow this is very scary because our money would be worth nothing pretty soon if inflation does indeed go up that much.
  • Don’t think 10% is possible, My Two Dollars shows us the inflation rate in other countries world wide!
  • Last Monday was Martin Luther King’s holiday and Blogging Ad’s gives us some history about it.
  • Blueprint tells us why we shouldn’t time the market.  With so much of our money in our own control nowadays, we should all learn to be patient and invest in both good and bad times!
  • Sun’s Financial Diary asks what everyone’s biggest concern is in a recession.  Go vote and see if what you fear is the same as others!
  • The Digerati Life talks about the falling dollar and how foreigners are trying to buy good American companies.  If big foreign investors are buying good solid companies on the cheap, shouldn’t we do the same?
  • Gather Little by Little confesses and tells us that personal finance bloggers are human too and is susceptible to making money mistakes.  To him I say no worries because knowing is the first step to getting back on track.
