A huge “Thank you!” to everyone that sent me your regards while my grandfather is in the hospital. Although I wish I could stay here forever, I will be flying back to the US for work in a couple days. For those that are concerned, he is recovering very well and he should be able to leave intensive care and into a regular hospital room soon. While I attend to my grandfather, check out these great articles from around the internet since any advice could change your life!
- Blueprint and GetRichSlowly is having a dueling bloggers post on whether using home equity to pay off unsecured debt is a good idea. Find out why JD thinks you should why Jim thinks you should not!
- MyTwoDollars reminds us that we have 18 more days to qualify for the Federal Tax Credits For Energy Improvements! Act now!
- Modern Worker shows us 5 ways to help us create a healthy, positive spirit!
- Fiscal Musings talks about the concept of risk and return. I know that everytime I forget to think about this, I end up taking on too much risk for the potential reward. Most people think about this when they invest, but this applies to life too! Manage your risk well and you will succeed.
- MoneyBlueBook talks about why sometimes saving money is not worth the time and effort!
- It seems like Double Journey has moved to California! In this post, he talks about whether it was worth it to come down.
- Gather Little by Little has an article that is titled Thank God For Credit Cards. You just have to go check it out.

Glad you hear your grandfather is doing better. That is great news!

Hope you were able to juggle the hectic events!
Great to hear, David!
glblguy: Thank you!!
Money Blue Book: It’s quite hard but so far so good. It’s easier since it’s the holidays and work is slower than normal. Otherwise it would be even tougher!
Modern Worker: Thank you to you too!!!
Glad to hear your grandfather is doing better.
Yes, I’ve moved to California. So far so good. Start the Job on Monday, so we will see how that goes.
