Sorry for missing 1-2 days last week of posts but my grandfather is in the hospital and things have been very tough for our family. I have booked a flight tomorrow night to go see him and I hope everything will be okay since he’s already had multiple surgeries during the last few weeks.
In the meantime, here are some of the articles on the blogsphere. Reading these articles will hopefully improve myself and make my grandfather proud!
- My Two Dollars talks about how to make your wife happy with very little money. Putting effort always means a lot to your spouse so everyone should follow his lead by doing something special to someone today!
- LocoMono asks readers when he should balance his retirement funds. Personally, funds in my 401k is automatically rebalanced every 6 months, but I don’t reallocate at all for my taxable account. Maybe this is something I should look into.
- Double Journey discusses good ways to find a job. These skills and tips works in many other areas of our lives so check them out!
- Finance and Fat talks about why he paid $120 when something could’ve cost $99. A good lesson for all of us because we often try to save pennies and end up spending dollars!
- The Simple Dollar explains to us which cards to keep when we have a ton of different credit cards.
- Get Rich Slowly has a little story about how he was able to say no to temptation. Something we all need to learn!

Hope everything is alright with your grandfather. And it can be pretty tough to keep up with a blog during the holidays. I’m going to try to write a bunch of posts ahead of time so all I have to do is post them on a daily basis.
I wish your grandfather a speedy recovery. We know you’ll be back with quality content once the family is taken care of.
Can always count on you to round up the best of the web, David. Hope you had an enjoyable weekend.
Enjoy the time with your grandfather, I know I did with mine. In fact I will be visiting my grandmother this weekend as well. Take care of your family first as always. We loyal readers will keep your site alive and well for you.
Thanks for the link, its a honor to be in a company of the best and mentioned by one of the best.
Hi David,
