This is the week’s game plan.
I think Nvidia (NVDA) will continue to go up for the week as fund managers get in to show that they own this stock. The so called “window dressing” that happens at the end of every month since they do not want to let their clients know that they own bad stocks. This stock also has a bright future because of the PS3. Watch out though since the PS3 will be sensitive to news.
With the same statement, Walgreen (WAG) is a stock to avoid, since it has gone down quite a bit and have been a pretty bad performer. I’m unsure how Walmart’s $4 drug program have affected the industry, so we will see how the stock performs in Dec as it is going to report by the end of Dec.
I’m also getting increasingly wary of a correction. The market has been going up and up for the past few months (especially this month) and this is a bit abnormal. I’m looking for a correction and will jump out of the way at the first sign of it. However, I can’t really do this next week because I’m on business travel and I’m not going to be able to keep an eye on the stock market as often as I’d like. I will keep you guess updated as things go along.
For those that follow my portfolio, I’m holding AMD, BAC, MO, MSFT, NYX, RADS, T right now and want to buy (GS, GOOG, SHLD)
