Some of you know that I?? still looking for a house, but I found an interesting website that compares my rent against other places around the area.? You can check the site out here.
?
I found that my one-bedroom apartment rent of $995 a month is below the median of $1098 in my area.? This also tells me that my landlord charging new tenants $1095 for the same sized unit is about average.
?
The low of the area is $929 but the area is not as good as where mine is.? The high is $1309 a month which is outrageous but there must be someone who is paying that right now.
?
For me it gave nothing more than a peace of mind that I?? not paying too much rent but I?? a numbers guy so I love these kinds of sites that gives statistics.
