When we were young, one out of ten of us would have a basketball and we play. When we became adults, everyone bought a basketball and we still play. The difference? It's great that you and your friends were able to make things fun though. I still remember one time when I borrowed my mom's lawnmower to cut grass for someone. The machine was so heavy my mom ended up coming to help. She did all the work while I got $5. (I love you mom!) When doing chores with a sibling or friend, we could joke around, challenge each other, etc. Even though we grew up in a situation where we had to work more than many kids, we made it fun.
