Festival of Frugality #170 – Frugal Living is Timeless

by MoneyNing · 40 comments

luxurySome people seem to be worried that frugal living is no longer in fashion. That somehow, responsible spending is not the right thing to do anymore when everyone is saying that consumers need to spend in this economy. With so many amazing articles in this edition and such a great audience, I’d just like to say

  • Frugal living is timeless
  • Frugal living is about sensible spending and
  • Frugal living is a personal choice

If you’ve also made that choice, there’s no need to care what other people think.

Gonna take me a week to read thru all your links!
Some great titles there, so will be trying :)

Good thoughts from you also – Frugal living is about personal choice, and no, I don’t care
what others may think about my lifestyle :) Never did, and still don’t!

Thanks for hosting and for including my post (When “Free” Things Aren’t Free).

As for frugal living being unfashionable – high heels may be fashionable, but they certainly are’t practical!

Cheers,
Penelope :)
