The title sounds more like an advertisement for careers at Chick-Fil-A or something but I assure you that this is not! I went to the fast food restaurant today and I saw a sign that says “Thursday Appreciation, buy the cow for $4.99 and bring it in Thursdays for a free Original Chicken Sandwich”.
At first, I ignored the offer but after buying my meal and eating at the place, I noticed that EVERYBODY had a few cows with them. I went back to the cashier and chatted with her a bit and found out that they have sold a ton of those cows because of the promotion and that they are really giving away free original sandwiches.
This really sounds like a great deal because I can get one chicken sandwich per week for a one time fee of $4.99. Heck, I can probably go there twice a day to get 2. Maybe I can even just walk out the door and come back in to get my second one (and third and so on). I didn’t really ask if this was possible or allowed but I’m sure there are tons of ways around this if I really tried.
When I got home, I went to their website and I did not see anything like that on the page so this promotion might be from the owner of that particular restaurant. The average number of cows people had were 2 (to get 2 chicken sandwiches). Would you take this deal and buy a few cows of your own? How many would you buy?

[...] Opportunities Are Everywhere - Even At Chick-Fil-A My local gas station has a deal like this. Each year, they sell a certain colored cup for $10. If you buy that cup, you get unlimited coffee for the year. Even if this is a break-even deal for thhem, it really attracts regular customers who will buy other stuff and come away with positive feelings towards the station. (@ money ning) [...]

Hello Moneyning, so did you buy one? Maybe you should get one and take a picture to put on your site! Maybe you can ask for more sandwiches from Chick-fil-A since you help them promote the event! : )
Happy Friday!
Hmmm. Chick-fil-a…In college I think I ate there a few times a week…
Emily: No I didn’t get one because my fiancee and I were talking and we forgot until we got home!
Yeah I should ask for more sandwiches. I can certainly add a link to their site if they want
David: It’s actually quite good. I’m not sure if you like fast food anymore but check it out if you still do!
I would definitely buy the cow, and keep it in the car! There is a ChikFilA right by my office!
Cheryl: Do you have the same offer or was it store specific?
Or you could buy a real cow for $2,500 and start your own restaurant!
j/k
Living Off Dividends: I can! Nothing is impossible so remember to come eat if you see a restaurant named MoneyNing.
