Netflix Coupon, Netflix One Month Free Trial Updated

by David Ning · 329 comments

We have a coupon for the Netflix free trial offer that lets you try the awesome service for one whole month free instead of the previous offer of 14 days, and proof lies in the fact that even the official site is advertising this specific promotion. There are coupon codes floating around for this deal, but we are listing the promotional coupon that land you the same offer below without the need to type in complicated codes. Either way, these Netflix coupons and coupon codes (or priority codes as they are sometimes called) are helping the DVD rental and online streaming company grow through a Netflix coupon that gives you a taste of the service via a Netflix free trial for a month. With this promotion, they are hoping that someone who joins via the coupon offer will stay as a customer and judging by Netflix’s performance numbers, customers are doing just what they are hoping for. I highly recommend that you consider whether using the deal below is right for you. But anyway, enough introduction, let’s just get right to the free trial offer.

  • Netflix Free Trial Code for 14 Days – The free trial period is one month instead of 14 days now, so we just retired this promotion. The new offer is even better though right?

Other Ways to Get the Same One Month Free Trial

Some of you told me that the special Netflix coupon codes (priority codes) I listed gets you the exact same deal as you would by just going through to the site using the link above, so there’s really no point typing in the codes because doing so requires more work. If you are interested, just visit Netflix by using the link above and you will be guaranteed to land on the page with the one month free trial. If you really want a code for whatever reason, then you can look in the comment section to see if there are any priority codes you can use but like I said, it’s best to just go through the link because it’s the same thing and I know the link works.

With Netflix, you are getting access to thousands of titles and the way it works is like this:

  • You are able to rent a pre-set number of DVDs (the number depends on your plan)
  • Once you return a DVD, the next DVD on your queue will be sent over
  • You can watch them for as long as you want with no late fees
  • Shipping is paid for both ways
  • Plan is as low as $7.99 per month, less than going to the movies once.
  • You can even stream movies on your TV without mailing anything
  • Phone (1-866-636-3076) Available 24 Hours a Day, 7 Days a Week

What I found out about the Netflix Free Trial Coupon

The free trial month offer is only available to first time customers and not every Netflix employee is eligible. When you sign up, you still need to put in your credit card details to get the Netflix free trial even though you won’t be charged anything until the promotional period ends. In case you were wondering, the promotional period starts as soon as you create your account, so hurry and pick your movies to start enjoying the free trial period because after all, it expires. If you like, you can cancel your service via the “Your Account” section within Netflix.com (available after you log in) and you owe nothing, but if you don’t, expect your subscription to start as soon as your promotional period ends and your credit card statement to show a monthly fee from the company.

Some readers who used the free trial offer and canceled their service also confirmed that they recently received an email from Netflix urging them to come try the service again with another one month free trial. This is, of course, great news because you can potentially get one more month of free services (for a total of two months) without ever paying a single cent.

Be Careful and Don’t Turn the Netflix Free Trial Offer into a Scam

Though I think Netflix provides a good alternative to cable TV and other costly TV services, many of you will no doubt take advantage of this free trial offer and try to cancel on the last day of the trial period. If this is you, then remember to look carefully at the exact date that your free trial offer actually ends. When you log into Netflix.com’s interface, you will no doubt see a “next billing date”, but note that this is probably not the last day you can cancel. On the same page, you should see another date (it was 2 days earlier than the next billing date for me) in much smaller print alerting you of the last day to cancel the service before your credit card starts being charged.

So, if you want to pay nothing and take advantage of this Netflix coupon for some free movies, then make sure you remember when you started your free trial and when it ends. If you want to take advantage of the system, then it’s your own responsibility to make sure that you stay on top of the dates on your own.

What to Know Why Netflix Can Ship So Many DVDs Each Day?

I always assumed that the DVDs were packaged by machines, but I was wrong. Check this video out to see how Netflix plans to handle your DVD requests.

The Netflix streaming service no doubt helped these people out by lessening the work load, but I’m sure they are still busy packing as you read this!

I’m very disappointed with NETFLIX, having to leave comments twice within 10-minutes! Plus, I still haven’t been given the opportunity to see my number 1-selected movie to see,”right away”…

  • VICTOR H. FRANCO says:

I’m disappointed in the time to see my free movie, having installed Silverlight 3-times!

  • Aaron says:

I hope they don’t lay off all those workers, almost all the good movies are not available on streaming, so I still have a huge list of movies in my queue waiting to be delivered.
If anything, they should hire more people, my movies are starting to deliver slower every month….

  • Dshu says:

It’s too bad all those Netflix workers will probably get laid off once more people use the streaming versions. DVDs are on their way out!

  • Krystyna Plochocki says:

I tried to get access to your free trial. I installed cookies, but no access. Why ? What I should do now ?

  • sandy says:

I signed up last year for the free trial, and my credit card was charged right away. I called the 1-800 # right away and canceled. They refunded my money, but it left a bad taste in my mouth about netflix.

  • Justin says:

    No coupon code is needed.
Netflix has always offered a free month trial.
    Check their website.

I have tried to sign up for netflix and my computer says I need to enable cookies. I tried to enable cookies but I can not get it to work.

  • Confused says:

They wouldn’t give me the free trial at first (I have no idea why), so I started off my subscription with payment. Now they’ve sent me an email for a free trial. Since I’m already paying for the subscription, if I sign up for the free trial now, will it automatically go into effect after my last payment ends, or will it create a second subscription – my one paid and the one free trial?

I’m so confused. I love Netflix and all, but way to go with that one.

  • ej says:

the netflix trial works fine but the movies for me take 3 days to get them and i notice that my cousin has different movies on instant watch he has the 2 dvds out so that makes me mad cause instant watch should be the same. i’m thinking of canceling my sub. i will try blockbuster

  • Redbox says:

You can actually try Redbox for cheap movies. For a 1-month Netflix free trial, you can just wait for it in the mail. They will give you a priority code for it.

  • Meg Cortez says:

Please send me the netflix free trial code for 1 month please.

  • Dorothy Peterson says:

    Dear Netflix,

Jared was very helpful to me. He suggested that I continue with the $13.99 trial for two DVD’s at a time and subscribe to your service. However, I am unable to complete your application on the Internet.

Can you have Jared email me? Unfortunately, I do not trust the internet.

I wish to try you out but do not wish to subscribe just yet. Jared tells me you are a subscription service and I can cancel at any time.

  • Jonda Pfau says:

I want to try the free trial to see if i want to sign up

  • Jack says:

Is the 1 month free trial only for 1 DVD out at a time?

I’d rather have a 2 week free trial for 3 DVDs out at a time.

  • Jessica says:

I think it’s the free trial period is different with IE and firefox because you clicked on a link for a one month free trial with IE and it just saved your settings. I don’t think browsers would make a difference.

  • shas says:

I just started my Netflix subscriptions for 1 month free. What I noticed is that if you use Firefox browser it shows only 2 weeks free whereas with IE it is 1 month free.

  • Dustin Green says:

There’s nothing wrong with the free trial, so I’m not sure why everyone is bashing Netflix about it. As long as you understand the details of the coupon, I don’t see why anyone has a problem with getting two free weeks of free movies! Come on people, it’s free!

  • Why Give says:

Why are people asking for a Netflix coupon code? If I had one, I would never give it out since they can only be used one time I believe.

  • Kitty says:

we have belong to Netflix for awhile. We quit for abour 6 months to trim our budget. But we really miss not getting the movies by mail.We found ourselves going out and renting movies, which cost more then Netflix and now with the streaming it’s a better deal yet. As far as delivery we haven’t had a problem there is a two day turn around. One goes in on Monday we have one back by Wednesday. We always have had great customer service when there was a problem.

  • Maria says:

I have tried this offer. Trust me, those first DVDs will arrive lightning fast! It’s like they have the movies you want ready to go once you pick them. But wait…right after the two week trial is over, the DVDs can take up to three or more days to arrive! In the beginning they’d arrive the VERY NEXT DAY! Later after the trial period is over, if it happens to fall on a weekend, then that movie will arrive sometime on Tuesday if it got sent out on a Saturday. That’s four days! And the time to cancel is the day BEFORE the trial period is supposed to end. I logged in the day it was supposed to expire hours before I had opened my account and low and behold, it wasn’t even the exact two weeks that they charged my card and right at MIDNIGHT that day! I didn’t even have time to cancel it! I was upset and canceled the following month. I think I only got three more movies that following month in the mail. So the arrival time for the DVDs actually got worse. I have dial up service so I couldn’t download any movies to watch so I could not take advantage of that part of my membership. Hope this helps anyone that wonders what happened to the lightning fast delivery time after the trial period ends.

  • Nicole says:

The Netflix coupon code worked! Almost. Thanks for the previous poster!

  • coy white says:

send me if any one has any coupons

  • Shaun Owino says:

Confirmed. Coupon or not, the Netflix free trial takes a dollar off your account first. No big deal but that’s what it does.

  • Sarah Keelan says:

Anyone tried the Netflix coupon code up there? Does it really give you one month free trial?

  • sue says:

What’s up with no netflix June 22 due to “maintence”?. no advance notice? why maintence? This isn’t like a plumbers call! I really don”t buy this excuse for no service in the digital world. really?

  • Betty says:

Anyone got any other Netflix code to send me? I’d like a few.

  • Jackie says:

I didn’t get to finish applying for my free month, and my computer ditzed on me, now what do I do.

  • Casey says:

Most of the free trials are only for two weeks so good luck all!

  • Casey says:

I have had my netflix account for over a year and at times I wonder what I did without it! They have some great movies and tv series on instant watching. You guys should really give it a shot. I have the 8.99 a month plan and get on average 1-2 movies a week. They will take a dollar off your account for your free trial! Did it too mine and two other people I know that I got started.

Here’s some codes for 1 free month:
    M363576626315
    M313586626305
    M303546626035
    M393596626365

  • John says:

Listen up people. EVERYONE can get a 2 week free trial. Just follow the link to Netflix website. And of course you have to give a credit card number, mostly, because they are sending you movies with no guarantee you would return them out of the kindness of your heart. Secondly, the entire idea is that you will be happy and want to remain with their program and they would then charge your card $8.99 per month. If you watch a movie the day it arrives in the mail, then send it back and get another one. You would be able to view 10 movies a month conservatively as well as no limit on the movies you can stream to your television from online.
So, figure at least one movie every single day, that’s around THIRTY CENTS PER MOVIE, and some of you complain? OYYYY!!

  • Landon says:

ok….i get its free until your trial ends. but, they should make it where you dont have to put your credit card in until your trial ends. come on! Be smarter than that!

  • Landon says:

I think its stupid. i mean…they say that you can have a free trial but they still charge you to have a free trial. yeah, that makes a lot of since. “Free Trial” not “Free Trial if you make a payment.” Really?

  • John says:

You guys say there is a Netflix free trial for two weeks but where is it? It seems to me that you have to pay.

  • Dick Lensing says:

I routinely mail DVDs of a family genealogy project, and have gotten 3-4 opinions from various postal clerks as to what the correct postage should be.

Netflix obviously has this figured out. What do you pay to ship a single DVD in a cardboard mailer?

  • Shiely says:

Sounds ok…never have signed up for Netflix coupon before. I use to work for them through a temp agency. Completely not a fun job, it’s fast pace, and you literally get overheated and your hands cramp up easily. Just be happy when you get your movies…don’t let your pets chew on your disks…stop smearing your crap all over the disks, that is gross…keep your post-it notes short and sweet, they don’t need to read a novel…I guess just be polite, and send in the right disk. No body needs to see your porn. I’m not kidding either, people send those in the envelopes.

  • Lorene Therrell says:

We’re looking forward to movies at home. Send them on!
