iTunes is Apple’s ultra popular music and app download portal. iTunes promotions are hard to come by so while looking for iTunes promo code, I found that the store actually gives away one free single every single week. The selection is random, but all you have to do is open iTunes and go to the front page and the free song is right there. I’ve gotten a free song for at least a year so I know this works.
A Note About the iTunes Promo Codes
There are other ways to get a promo code (or as they are called, redemption codes). One way to get them is to go to Starbucks every Tuesday to get a card, which gives you one of their songs for free. No purchase is necessary so you can literally just go up to the counter to grab the card (it’s the size of a credit card) and leave (the promo code for the free song is at the back of the card). Then when you have the code, simply go to the iTunes store and click on Redeem (the link is on the right) and redeem the song as if you have a gift card. Of course, Starbucks is hoping that you would buy a drink but you don’t really have to if you don’t want to.
The other way, as we already mentioned above, is to just go to the iTunes store and click on the free song of the week. Not every song will be awesome but sometimes you get a diamond in the rough and when it’s free, why not give it a shot since you will be learning about new songs without paying for them.
Even without any promotion codes, you can watch trailers of movies that you can rent or buy in iTunes for free. Renting them isn’t cheap though, like Redbox, but it’s very convenient since you can do it at the comfort of your desk (or sofa if you have a laptop).
There are also a ton of podcasts available for free at iTunes. You might want to search for what’s out there first before you try them out since the quality isn’t always top notch and there are literally too many to choose from without really know what you are going to pick.
I also want to point you to these audiobooks, which are actually awesome, especially if you have a long commute and your car lets you plug in your iPod/iPhone. The beauty of this is that you can buy the audiobook and listen to it while you are driving to and from work! Some people might want to listen to novels, but if you instead buy self improvement books, you will be learning so much in no time and improving on anything you want because you spend so much time in your car on average.
