What a bad way to save money!

To say the least, I have been a ??hicken nut??since childhood. I love eating chicken so much that someone had once told me that I must have been somehow killed by chickens my last life so I am taking revenge on them by eating lots of them. When I go to fast food restaurants, I always order a chicken sandwich. My favorite part of the chicken is chicken wings though.

So, as usual, my fianc? and I went to a fast food restaurant the other day called Wing Stop. This place is basically like heaven for me, since their menu is full of different chicken wings (10 flavors to choose from). I am so excited just talking about it that I?? getting way off topic already.

So let?? get back to the point of this post.

When we were there, we saw someone order some wings. However, when his order was ready to be picked up, he insisted that he ordered a soda with his meal even though the cashier said he didn??. After a small argument, the manager came over and apologized to the person and gave him a soda and the customer quickly left soon after.

This blog is all about creative ways to save money. However, trying to cheat your way for free stuff is certainly not the right way! We teach ways to save by eating out less, and using legal means to save and earn more money etc but definitely not by stealing/robbing.

If you have done something similar, it is important to know that it is wrong so please do not do this again.

Hopefully, I will be able to find you more ways to save legally. Have you seen something similar? Please share with us!

I’ve seen these kind of stuff countless times. You can never stop this kind of thing but hoepfully at least you aren’t one of them.

Things like this happen all the time. I have seen people buy one cup of coffee from McDonalds and then save the cup and go back everyday to refill their coffee for free etc etc.

I actually work at McDonald’s and bringing the coffee cup back is ok IF you are a senior citizen. However, I have seen people bring back the 32 oz. plastic cups and refill them over and over, even though the campaign for that particular cup passed months before. And we get a lot of people who insist they ordered a drink or fries. I’m a manager, and I explain to them that “the cashier probably didn’t hear that part, but you weren’t charged for it either. If you’d still like the item, I’d be glad to ring it up.”

Ann: I’m assuming that it is okay for a senior citizen only because the store independently decided to do this to show respect? The policy must be “refills are for the same visit as the purchase only” right?

As for people trying to get more, I guess we just have to deal with these types of stuff since there really isn’t a way to stop it.
